A raffle at 4 a.m., Istennyila (“God's Thunderbolt”) behind the bar.
For decades it ran on Dóm tér, in the medical faculty building. It had a relaxed, mixed crowd: JATE students and the Sing Sing set both came.
The house cocktail was the Istennyila: vodka, lemon juice and soda. According to the local paper it knocked many people flat around 2010. Around 4 a.m. they drew a raffle, and the Saturday “Shine On” parties were the most popular.
It closed in June 2011, after the university terminated the operating contract.
