Stop 2 · Family Walk
Roosevelt tér · between the Móra Museum and the Tisza
On this merry-go-round a child in a wheelchair rides along with everyone else. One of the most popular playgrounds in the centre, by the Tisza and the museum.
Why go: it's right in the centre, between the Tisza bank and the Móra Ferenc Museum, so it fits neatly at the end of a walk or a museum visit.
In September 2026 it got an integrated merry-go-round that children in wheelchairs can use together with the others. It cost 2.7 million forints, 2.5 million of which was paid by Continental's Szeged plant.
The local paper calls it one of the most popular playgrounds in the centre. It has a slide, swings and a big climbing frame.
In summer 2026 it closed for a few weeks while the safety surfacing was repaired, and reopened in August. Szeged now has more than 130 playgrounds.
