At the foot of the Belvárosi Bridge for decades. Custard-based ice cream, cakes, homemade juices and coffee; readers named it in Délmagyar's 2026 ice-cream poll too.
The story
The name recalls the old Palánk, Szeged's palisade-walled town centre around the castle. The shop closes every year on 31 October and reopens on 1 March. In November 2024 a national paper reported an “unexpected” closure, while the note on the door said it would reopen on 1 March, just like every year.
